This release makes LibreOffice even more stable. So let’s install or update LibreOffice 4.4.3 inUbuntu/Linux Mint or in other Ubuntu based distributions.
How To Install/Upgrade To LibreOffice 4.4.3?
If you have not installed any version of LibreOffice already then you can directly download the latest version from website and open the .deb file with Software Center and click Install.
OrIf you have installed any previous version of LibreOffice then here is how you can upgrade to LibreOffice 4.4.3.
- Add the following ppa from the terminal –
$ sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:libreoffice/ppa
- Now update the system through Software Updater and it will prompt to update LibreOffice to 4.4.3.
You can also install LibreOffice after adding PPA from the terminal. Just do the following –
$ sudo apt-get update$ sudo apt-get install libreoffice
