Regular releases makes it more stable and feature-rich. According to the team LibreOffice 4.4.5 replaces LibreOffice 4.3.7 as "still" version for more conservative users and enterprise deployment. Install this update in Ubuntu/Linux Mint or other derivatives to get bug fixes.

If you have no any previous version of LibreOffice then you can download LibreOffice .deb from the download page and open it with Software Center or gdebi and click install.
In case you have already installed any previous LibreOffice version then do the following -
$ sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:libreoffice/ppa
2. Now update the system through software updater
Or update system through terminal commands -
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Congratulation! You have successfully update to LibreOffice 4.4.5. Enjoy!
