Such FPS gaming on Linux sometimes seems impossible to many newbies but NO… We have many such FPS games for Linux. So here it goes a list of Top 5 Linux First Person Shooter games.

5- Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Game Requirements

Since the beginning of Counter-Strike, when it was a MOD for Half-Life, did not enjoy much of this saga. After many experiments, upgrades and tests have finally succeeded in restoring and modernizing this title, giving a second youth hopefully last long. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) will expand the gameplay action team that pioneered its launch 12 years ago. CS: GO will include new maps, characters and weapons and provide updated the classic CS content versions.

The gameplay of this game has also it appears a strange thing, like being able to shoot a hen improved.

Another of the many games that can not miss in your library, some say “Counter-Strike 1.6” is much better, so saying, but you just have to take a chance on this issue. If you are used to CS 1.6, it will cost you adapt, because the gameplay is very different; This has a dynamism that, in my opinion, is more rewarding than others.

The only bad thing is that there, in the competitive mode, you ban for reasons that are unintentional, for example, when you’re shooting at an enemy, and one of your teammates gets in the middle and you kill counts as if it was your fault and with intent, and will probably ban for a week. But for trollers, this is something magnificent.

4- Left 4 Dead 2

I imagine you’ve ever heard of this game because here began the season wave of zombies. It set in the zombie apocalypse, Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2) is the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning Left 4 Dead 2, the game co-op No. 1, 2008. This cooperative action horror FPS will take you and your friends through the cities, swamps, and cemeteries of the Deep South.

-Jugabilidad: The same controls of an FPS (play FPSs) basic, nothing changes. (Compared to controls). It has several game modes, both cooperative and clashes. But there happens to be some kind of bug/glitch that complicates life players in Showdown mode: There happens to be a miscalculation in the special infected gripping, such as the “hunter” and “charger” capture their prey missing meters to catch them. That causes slight discomfort when survivor in an above-mentioned manner. (7/10)

-Graphs: Left 4 Dead 2 is a game for everyone, you do not need a super pc to play. The developers have done a great job of putting that amount of NPCs (non-playable characters) in the game without making you put lag or crashes. Using the graphics engine “Source”, typical of Valve, this game has very good graphics for its time. (8/10)

-Music: The music is very well done, maintains that terror in the game and helps acclimate situations where the player is. For example: When the player has called the horde can hear the screams of the zombies and macabre music that put the player with the creeps. (9.5 / 10)

-Mode Online: This game has very few official servers, causing discomfort and conflict in creating a game room, plus the number of servers with “Mods” (Modifications of the game) that leave the game to enjoy 100%. (5/10)

-Community: Despite the small number of servers you have in your domain, December 25, 2013, Steam allowed free play, increasing the number of “Children rat” and novice players that ruin the games to others. IMHO recommend that if you play Left 4 Dead 2, do it with friends, instead of seeking a public match. As in all games, there are undesirable to hack the game to win unfairly, but as it is not very common, do not take it as an important point in this analysis. (4/10)

3- Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2 play on Linux

Team Fortress 2 (TF2) is the sequel to the game that put class-based, multiplayer team warfare on the map. The game delivers new gametypes, a signature art style powered by Valve’s next generation animation technology, persistent player statistics, and more. Unlike other “class-based” games that offer a variety of combat classes only, Team Fortress 2 packs a wild variety of classes which provide a broad range of tactical abilities and personalities, and lend themselves to a variety of player skills. Play as the flame-throwing Pyro, the room clearing Heavy, or the Spy, a master of disguises. Other classes include Scout, Sniper, Medic, Engineer, Demoman, or Soldier. Nine different classes offer a wide variety of technical skills and personalities. Constantly updated with new game modes, maps, equipment and, most importantly, hats!

This is, by far, the best simulator Economic (or as many calls “Hats Simulator“) in the world. Teaches you how to overcome an economic crisis, the value of savings, desire and temptation, greed, and a scam (Scam). It is practically an overview of the economic aspects of the world.

1- Dying Light

Dying Light is a survival action game presented in first-person perspective. The game is set in a huge open world and dangerous. During the day, you wander around an urban environment ravaged by a mysterious epidemic, looking for supplies and making weapons.

The best zombie game to this day, can adapt to different styles of players, the mapping is quite gral, the graphics are very good, the elements of interaction are sufficient, combat is very fluid, enough to perform different missions types, completely replayable, multiplayer is pretty good, the story could be better but it is not an obstacle to enjoy the experience. The errors have been repaired quickly via upgrade and look like game development with additional content. A mandatory and highly recommended for fans of the zombie genre game.

Teeing parkour and zombies in a game is something that from the beginning caught my attention.
It is very well developed, is open world and has many missions, challenges, easter eggs, and collectibles, but the side missions pecan much of what usually happens in the open world, “Bring me this, go there and kill that guy … “As for parkour is pretty good, because your fluided; while you’re jumping to a roof and you are viewing the possible ways forward. It is a bit poorly optimized, but I hope to resolve it soon. That’s the main fault I’ve found. The game is full of things to do, if you are someone who likes history you have good main missions do quite varied, If you like the exploration of the map, concur more characters and find secret things, you can choose to side quests you have in droves. If you like challenges alone or with friends, there are quarantined areas which will grant you a good level of difficulty. or if you like to compete against friends you have challenges which are better reward comes first, or achieve the goal before others.

The game has replay thanks to that in the last update have added the Hard difficulty, included new weapons, and according to the developers promise is just the beginning, not to mention that soon a tool to make mods for the game is released, which have eager to see things done the community and thus provide fresh for those who already finished the game and still want more air.

The overall game is almost perfect, just for a few details that are summarized in the experience of “Be the Zombie” which is very rare that games are, this is no fault of the game itself, otherwise than by default headings are configured to not allow invade, limiting it only to items where the host or owner of the consignment want to be invaded.
