Ubuntu MATE 16.04 Alpha 2 Available To Test

Ubuntu MATE 16.04

After the Ubuntu 15.10, all the Ubuntu members are preparing the for the next big release i.e. Ubuntu 16.04 ‘Xenial Xerus‘. All Linux users especially Ubuntu users are curious to experience the 16.04. But it’s taking shape and Ubuntu members including Ubuntu MATE have released Alpha 2 of Ubuntu MATE 16.04. You can test it out and send feedback to developers to help them shape it better for you.

Some might agree that this is not a big release then why I am posting it on my blog. Well, people are excited about 16.04 and as we saw the last version was not what people hoped. Ubuntu users hoped something bigger but their hopes were dumped. As the poll on LinuxAndUbuntu shows that people like new 15.10 wallpapers more than their main features. The only implementation of Linux Kernel 4.2 was the biggest change in that release.
