Resume Capability

If you’re downloading large files and suddenly you have to stop downloading then no problem, you can resume the download later with XDM resume feature. To resume download right click the stopped download and click ‘Resume’ or click the play icon from the bottom menu to resume stopped download.
Force Assemble

The Force Assemble feature lets you assemble any un-completed download. You can use this feature to play partly completed videos/audios or other files. Doing so will assemble all the downloaded parts of the download followed by a warning that “Assembling an incomplete download may result in corrupt output.”.
YouTube Downloader

In the latest version, YouTube download is finer. No glitches like the previous version. To download any YouTube video, open YouTube downloader from the menu and paste the YouTube video URL and click Get Video button. You will have a list of videos in different quality and resolution. Select the video and click download.
NEW – Advanced YouTube Downloader

There is a new feature added in the new version namely ‘Advanced YouTube Downloader‘. What advanced YouTube downloader does is that when it is enabled it forces the browser to open sites as Tablet mode. So when you open YouTube on the desktop then it looks like a tablet. Not only YouTube but other websites are also opened as Tablet mode. When you enable AYD feature and open YouTube, XDM will try to download the video you’re playing on YouTube.
Other than downloading YouTube videos with Advanced Youtube Downloader, I can also use it when my internet is slow. 😉 Haha. All Tablets websites open faster on Desktop with fewer data downloading.
Browser Integration

Browser integration is improved in the new version. Unlike in the previous version now it catches most downloads from browsers including Google Chrome and Firefox. For browser integration, go to Tools >> Browser Integration.
Start Downloading In Queue

Queue feature is a lot better in a new version. You can add multiple downloads in the queue by right-clicking the download and select ‘Add to Queue’. You can start the queue from the download menu by clicking ‘Start Queue‘.
Refresh Link
If your downloads stop due to link expiration, you can refresh the link. You can select the download and click the refresh link. XDM will open the download page and capture the new link for that download to resume it.
Speed Limiter

If you’re downloading multiple files then you can limit the downloading speed to download all of them at the same speed. To limit the downloads, select Speed limiter from Tools.
